Why is RPM Physical Therapy a Cash Based Practice?

Are you sick of fighting with your insurance company about physical therapy?

Are you looking for an easy alternative to the insurance nightmare?

Maybe you need to check out concierge, cash-based medicine, with fee-for-service physical therapy, and concierge sports medicine services in the Tampa, FL area? Well…RPM Physical Therapy is the practice for you!

Cash only clinicians provide high quality, affordable healthcare!

Many healthcare private practice owners are switching to a cash based model now, to ensure their patients still have the opportunity to receive great quality healthcare, with no insurance limitations, and making sure their patients are receiving the best treatment especially designed for them.

Cash only practices are a great option for the uninsured, the insured with a high insurance deductible, or even the insured who want high quality services with better outcomes. Some practices charge a low monthly rate and have an easy accessible direct care whenever their patient needs.  This may be a great system for those who do not need major medical services, or do not get sick often, but really want to get better quicker and in fewer visits.

Another option is physical therapy practices that accept all self pay patients without enrolling and being treated per injury. Payment options include (1) a Per Visit Fee option, or  (2) opting for a full package program which features a price break.  This is exactly what RPM Physical Therapy offers: individual visits or specialty treatment packages with unlimited visits.

Our goal is to resolve patients of their pain and make sure it never returns using whatever number of visits it takes.  Our cash based model will allow us to provide the highest quality of care because we feel our patients are worth it! We have found that many of our patients get the best outcomes and they return to their fun activities in life!.     A question that many people ask is….

Why is RPM Physical Therapy a Cash Based Practice?

“The reason RPM Physical Therapy is a cash-based service is because we understand that there is no way we can treat our patients the way that we feel is most effective and still accept insurance, without going broke and declaring bankruptcy.

Insurance companies decide to only reimburse about half what is billed for our valuable physical therapy services. In order to make a profit, many clinics that still handle insurance have to allow their patients to be seen by physical therapy assistants and less qualified clinicians.

They are also forced to see multiple patients at the same time, so if you would go to an insurance based clinic, you may be double or triple booked with other patients and thus receive only half or a third of the attention you need and deserve in order to get well.

At RPM Physical Therapy we spend 60 minutes of one-on-one time with each one of our patients, primarily using manual therapy that has been shown to show superior outcomes and better results than standard physical therapy care.

No physician script is required by RPM Physical Therapy since Florida is a Direct Access state, so we can treat you now, and you do not have to wait weeks to be evaluated and treated. While you are being treated here, you will not be charged for exercises that you can easily do at home on your own.

With our approach, we feel confident that we can get you better in less than half of the number of visits they would need at an insurance based clinic.

With the time savings of fewer clinic visits, and the value of feeling better sooner, most patients feel the out-of-pocket expense is more than worth it.”
